2016 avalon side mirror bulb replacement
 

Not only on this paticuler car, but i know many others ahve issues ,with mirror damage when trying to replace the side marker lights in the side mirrors.
Does anyone have some tips, tricks or knowledge on replacing this bulbs?

As far as I know, to change the bulb, you have to remove the mirror by pulling it out. I've done that on my previous car which was a Lexus. It can be done if you are really careful with it. Not only the mirror is held with 4 clips, it is also adhered. If you swap it out with LEDs, you will need load resisters to prevent hyper flashing. It will also look ricey with white turn signal bulbs. Not worth the mod in my opinion.

the mirror glass is mounted onto the glass panel that borders the glass. you have to get a trim tool behind the mounting panel from the bottom and in between the mounting panel and the adjuster. release the lower portion of the glass assy and unplug the heater/dimming lines, then remove the top.

fyi, the parts catalog doesn't show any serviceable bulbs in the puddle lamp, or the signal light.

I don't about the base models but the Limited models comes with LED puddle lights. The turn signals are 194.
