yeah resale value isn't biggie but it's not that bad, actually less than Japanese competitors.

2005 Honda Odyseey ~ $7-8k ($32k new so $24k depreciation over 11 years)

2005 Dodge Caravan ~ $4-5k ($23k new so $18k depreciation over 11 years)

thought I sold the van but he just came and looked at it.

Did some research and apparently Honda's tranny has a design problem for those years. There was even a class action lawsuit because of it.

Me and the wife will be looking for a van around 2002-2003. I'm suggesting the sienna to her and not the odyssey because of the tranny issues.
And I was a tech at Honda for 24 years.

Might be time for you to "make the call". (is your name Steve by any chance?)
