Hey guys, so after trying the Korean Spicy ramen, I grew to love the sauce, sweet and satisfyingly spicy. I am on the hunt for a similar sauce that I can use on ramen noodels and bibimap (korean mixed rice).

In the past, I've bought a small tub of the korean hot paste (Gochu Jang), but it was just salty with a bit of peppery taste. Looking around in H-Mart is a gongshow because I don't know which to pick. Can someone recommend a brand that is super spicy?

I would recommend this brand for gochujang.
I use it at home to make all my korean shits.

I wouldn't recommend using the jang on noodles, because the jang is too thick to mix in with the soup, I would rather use the gochu powder yenno im saiyan.

Thanks for the suggestion, I remember seeing that brand during my quick look-up, it's by Daesun or something. I'll pick up a tub and try it:)

You don't use the sauce to make kimchi. There are tons of ingredients that goes into kimchi, but gochu jang isn't one of them.
