LG G5 this could possibly be my next phone. i really like the idea of that camera module. |
finally...some innovation in phones. there's no point waiting for other Androids to be announced...this will be the one to beat. |
innovative, yet "gimmicky" at least this is really one step closer to the whole modular phone thing Really curious to see how this one rolls out, I like what LG is doing and hte G4 was fantastic outside of the gimmicks and features, you really cannot go wrong with swappable batteries 0-100% in seconds. |
interesting that they got rid of the app drawer... |
spec-wise I can't see how anyone can fault this...I mean if the battery was 3k mah that would be better...and I don't like camera humps. Water resistance is nice but not a high priority for most. Emphasizing customization goes against the grain of sealed everything mantra of every other big mobile mfg, so good for them as I doubt Google's Project Ara will materialize. How many 3rd parties will support the modular component is another story. getting rid of app drawer is indeed strange, and I hope there's an option to turn always on feature, off. |
Not really feeling the curve at the top of the screen. Rather have full flat screen so is easier to apply my glass screen protector  No app drawer shouldn't be that big of a deal. You can always switch to aftermarket launcher. |
That wide angle lens is going to make for some absolutely beautiful photos given how great the existing G4 camera already is. |
With all the expandable parts, LG is trying to make additional dollar. Quick circle cover and wireless charger are already expensive to buy, now the B&O and camera kit, when u can buy all these items, G6 will be announced. |
the B&O dac attachment is interesting, but I imagine they'll charge an arm and a leg for it |
