KEN BLOCK'S GYMKHANA EIGHT

604STIG 03-01-2016 04:37 PM

Focus RS spotted at 4:52. And Block's Focus RS RX after the credits for those that didn't watch till the end.

Berzerker 03-01-2016 04:39 PM

Seemed kinda mundane. Best part was the supercar drag race but it was to short. Not his best video by any means.

Berz out.

How to make a gymkhana video:

Donuts in a confined space,
Slow mo action shot
Donuts in a round-about
Donuts around moving object
Slow mo donuts
Some open road donuts

Gymkhana + The Hire would be epic.

Spoiler!

Should have stopped at Gymkhana 2 lol

Glad I'm not the only one who feels these videos are boring.

What's so cool about it? Yes it takes skills, but...I think i'd be more impressed if the car was more relate-able. I mean a rally specd cars that does donuts? yea...of course it does, impress us by using a production car

boostfever 03-01-2016 08:11 PM

lol people complaining about watching videos now. I don't mind them personally. Yeah it might get repetitive, but if I hated it I wouldn't watch it. simple fix
918 Police car is overkill

List of some vehicles not used by the Dubai Police

Bicycle with electric motor removed from kitchen egg-beater.
Horse and cart with blue and red candles, flickering if it's a windy day.
Premier Padmini.
Tuk-tuk.
Volkswagen Beetle (6V).
Someones been fucking around...

He's also a mediocre driver as a professional. Crashed out of WRC several times, and has yet to win a Global Rallycross championship title despite coming close. The first one was a delight to watch, every one after was just a Rob Dyrdek-inspired vision of how far they can go to show off, catering to the denominator that sucks down Monster Energy Drinks and wears DC Shoes (no offense to those who like either).

This! It's all about branding, especially with Dyrdek. Not that there is anything wrong with that but these Gymkhana vids are getting so repetitive. San Fransisco was easily the best one.

JSALES 03-02-2016 07:44 PM

I was trying to look for the first gymkhana video but it seems like it was removed, there's nothing in good quality

orgasm_donor 03-02-2016 09:30 PM

mediocre professional driver but marketing his brand is where he shines. I give him a lot of credit for making retarded money by selling himself and his related products. Genius!

ae101 03-02-2016 09:52 PM

looks like im not the only that finds these videos boring lol

repetitive? no, boring? YES

i find it boring cuz hes doing the same thing over and over again, and there is nothing new to add lol

hi-revs 03-02-2016 10:23 PM

Pretty cool. But the original with the STi was so much more intense.

twitchyzero 03-03-2016 09:19 AM

I could care less if ken block is an average rally driver...gymkhana was never meant to be taken seriously. I'm glad KB found an avenue to excel in and if it sparks someone's interest in motorsports/WRC who wouldn't otherwise care, then that's even better.

Seeing an econobox chassis modified to hell and back and get tossed around world class backdrops with great execution and production value is always a treat even if it's more or less the same formula.

good showmanship, great entertainment value...wonder where #9 will take us.

originalhypa 03-03-2016 09:34 AM

Fuck you guys, this video was awesome.
Srsly. Just fuck you all. In your butts.

Except the ones I thanked. You're awesome.
