Wrap or Paint ?

Can someone school me a bit on this?

Trying to bring an old car back to life. If cost of wrapping and painting is about the same $1500-$2000 for whole car, should I wrap it or paint it?

Leaning towards wrapping it. Anyone who wrapped their whole car share their experience? Love it? Regret? Is maintaining it hard? Does it lose it's original lustre quickly? Anything in particular to pay attention to? Spray vs. vinyl wrap?

What car are you doing this on? If it's a low dollar car, just paint it. Wrap is for people who want to change the look of their car without depreciating the value by having mismatched paint in the bay and jams etc. If you have a new car you can wrap it and preserve the paint while changing the color.

Berz out.

Also keep in mind that if you want to wrap a car, the surface needs to be smooth. So if body work is needed, you might as well just paint it.

Good perspective.
