Absolutely agree. We stayed a 10 minute walk from Termini and it was lovely. People go into the coffee bars, talk for about 2 minutes, drink up their espresso and leave.

Also love how simple and delicious the pizza was. Ordering a pizza with each slice having their own different topping.

I was however fairly disappointed with the pistachio gelato all around Italy. Every place tasted more like hazelnut than anything.

The best gelato I had hands down in Europe was in Nice, I'm not a huge fan of Coconut but the coconut gelato at fenochios in Nice blew my mind

If that was a 10/10 every other ice cream/gelato I ever ate was a 7 at best

If you're all serious about great tasting burritos, do your self a favor and go to Costa Vida. Nothing you name can compare.

That's funny because you can call me a lot of things, but fatty isn't one of them.

And burritos being real Mexican food? -->:fuckthatshit:

Ain't no motherfuken Costa Vida in BC! The closest one is in Spokane, or Calgary. Both equally horrible locations in their own right.

You sir, have offended me greatly with your recommendation.

Can't go wrong with most of them but my favourite is Zaccary’s Special (Spicy)
Roasted chicken, sun dried tomatoes, basil, roasted garlic, tomato sauce, chillies, and real mozzarella cheese

The guy is usually pretty rude but maybe because he's busy slammed pumping out half a dozen pizzas at a time, but one time I went while it was slow. He was just chilling there eating his dinner while he was making my take-out order. We chatted and he offered me a couple slices of the pizza he was eating while I waited, it was freakin' delicious! Too bad he said it's not on the menu because he just picked up whatever was fresh at the market that morning and baked it into a pizza. :sweetjesus:

For the basic, cheap pizza, my go to in Surrey is Non Stop Pizza. 20 bucks minimum delivery, two 3 toppings and a coke for $19.99, with six vegetarian samosas for 3 bucks to take it over the limit. Brown ingredients like paneer, tandoori/butter chicken are my favorites.

I legitimately wonder what RS' go to for cheap party/drunk as fuck pizza is...

tegra7 05-13-2016 07:04 PM

A little off topic, but omega pizza in Surrey has really good hot wings.

Any Indian Pizza joint is the best ... Dave's Pizza in Coquitlam/Knight Street, Paragon on Victoria when it is fresh.

Garden Fresh is the exception ... good non-Indian pizza joint.

smaggs 05-14-2016 06:34 AM

My go to "cheap" pizza is newton pizza in south Surrey. They got awesome combos, don't skimp out on toppings (nor go over the top) and their wings are usually pretty good (although the ones I got last night were the first bad ones I had. No sauce on em).

punkwax 05-14-2016 07:12 AM

+1 for Newton pizza in S Surrey for cheap eats. Fed an entire kids bday party including adults with their 5 larges for $43 deal. $50 after tax.

Plus they'll throw garlic on any pizza for free, which is delicious on anything meaty IMO.

Locally my favorites are Neighbors Restaurant on Victoria and Best Neighbors on Cambie I think..

Got baked one night and drove to best neighbors thinking it was Neighbors..didn't look familiar...lol

Anyone who listens to TSN1040 frequently will know Johny at best neighbors, presumably the owner, is a frequent caller and critic of coaches/management lol

european 05-14-2016 09:22 AM

I know its out of the way but if you're ever in the area, try Abbondanza Pizza in Ucluelet, best pizza ever!

ABBONDANZA

Famoso is pretty good too but nothing beats Abbondanza

Jmac 05-14-2016 10:15 AM

If you go there, please mention that the plural of pizza is not pizza's. [/grammar nazi]

urrh 05-14-2016 10:54 AM

pizza's? with the apostrophe?

I find Neighbors on Victoria better than the Cambie one.

Also if anyone vacays to Banff, go to Red Rock Pizza in Canmore.

Hondaracer 05-14-2016 05:28 PM

Surprisingly the basic artichoke pizza at neighbors restaurant is killerrrrr

Ch28 05-17-2016 01:07 AM

Neighbours is awesome! I've been going there since I was a little kid
