I can't believe she said she had to leave and missed the vote Hahahaha oh man send her to a country with real problems she will last 2 seconds. So out of touch.....

unit 05-19-2016 11:36 AM

the only voice of sanity is liz may who crosses party lines to defend the pm. at least someone can put their partisan reactions aside and just see an accident and an apology for what it was.

makes me slightly embarrassed to have voted for the ndp

0:03-0:15 NDP MP intentionally blocking the conservative MP and the "victim" looked like she knew what was going on.

He fell for the bait.

This is what society has become where every small thing has to be blown up.

I can see it now. Next in parliament: safe spaces!

This is far from over.

NDP claims Trudeau pretty much assaulted her and now she's acting like traumatized by this "physical molestation"

Mulcair has definitely escalated the situation and this is just a disgrace to women in Canada or around the world that are REAL victim to human trafficking, rape, domestic violence, torture, discrimination, etc.

Canada has much bigger problems, people in Fort McMurray lost their home, and constant homelessness around in Canada, at risk youth, human trafficking, drugs, domestic violence, Panama Papers, police brutalities, teenage suicides due to bullying, cybercrimes, fraud, etc.

If NDP/Mulcair has to take this small incident to the extreme, I doubt they can handle any of REAL problems we have in Canada.

PeanutButter 05-19-2016 12:43 PM

If I were that female MP, I would feel pretty stupid right about now. Her statement was so ridiculous, but I can see how she could get caught up in the moment, and I have no doubt her colleagues pressured her to over react. She's probably regretting that decision big time.

Also, to the other MPs that were accusing trudeau, man those MPs must be pretty embarrassed now that the video is out in the open.

I mean, if I were a NDP MP and one of my colleagues literally told me that they were physically assaulted by someone, I would take their word as truth and then I would have went off too. So in Mulcair's defence, he's just being a bro.

Imagine you are walking down Robson and one of your girlfriends said some guy elbowed her, without knowing anything else but that, how would you react? I think that female MP blew this up and then it escalated as it normally would have. She pretty much effed her and her party by blowing this up.

This is why I hate most politicians.
all these assholes are so fake and opportunistic.

Everyone knew this is some insignificant shit, but guess what, they see an opportunity to attack their political opponents, and they pile on like hyenas.
Lying and pretending this is some criminal act and they are traumatized.

Worse, they are the ones that started it by purposely blocking other party member like they are bullying kindergarten kids.

Glad I didn't vote for NDP. I thought Muclair was alright before, but now I think he is some hypocritic losers. I hope this backfires for them.

MarkyMark 05-19-2016 12:50 PM

What a fucking joke, listening to these people go on about physically molesting her, and giving this bitch a standing ovation for explaining how she missed her vote because she had to "collect herself".... Yes you were so brave taking that elbow and managing to come back at all, tell us all how you were able to be so strong.

The fact that he apologized more than once and they are still harping on it shows their character, move the fuck on assholes.

Every time I watch the video, I'm wondering why the MP didn't just walk over to the other side with ONE person. :fulloffuck:

Or is this some Parliamentary etiquette thing I'm not aware of.

Makes for a good story but they still look like clowns.

Would people protest a housing collapse if a real smart James Bong like spy ran the country and fail them... or our current MP clowns. With the clown, we are subconsciously prepared for things to go bad.

Wow, I didn't realize they had already completely dealt with every serious issue facing our country and now have time to waste on this trivial bullshit. Sounds like they've been working hard!

Can't believe this bitch is getting paid $150k and probably going to get a good pension later.

Party democratic politics doesn't work. You have party lines to follow and imo you're no longer representing your constituency anymore but more of your party.

I understand that being a part of party helps get your name and word out (bigger budget) but today with the internet and social media, you can easily run as independents and truly have an opinion of your own and represent what your constituency wants you to voice. The government should ban all parties completely.

Timpo 05-19-2016 05:28 PM

Look at their Facebook page.
You can see how public is reacting.

With surveillance camera everywhere nowadays, politicians need to be extremely careful with what they say and what they do
now they just make themselves look pretty bad

Bouncing Bettys 05-19-2016 05:39 PM

The NDP owes everyone an apology for their behaviour which prompted Justin to action in the first place. He did nothing wrong.
