The iconic cop duo Riggs and Murtaugh are back in the all-new FOX Series LETHAL WEAPON. Don't miss them as they work in a crime-ridden modern-day LA.

I'm actually looking forward to finding a new 'cop' show. Now that my guilty pleasure 'Castle' has been cancelled, lol.

How did 12 Monkeys turn out? A pilot loosely based on that Mark Wahlberg "Shooter" movie was also filmed last year.

Minority Report already got canceled.

Studios have been looking at more ways to monetize existing properties to add new revenue streams with ever increasing video on demand/streaming services and PVR use decreasing ad spot rates. So for example, WB has the rights to the already existing Lethal Weapon, so by producing a TV series and selling the distribution rights to Fox, its a new revenue stream for an existing property.

About 3-4 years ago, Paramount studios was also looking increase their TV presence but without the cost of starting their own network, so they went through their film properties and started producing and licensing out their film properties such as Minority Report & School of Rock for TV shows.
