Serious question now. Will this just blow over or will it seriously impact his role as main anchor?

Gailus looks like a douche so im not surprised to hear this, but bigger question, people watch global news? CBC Vancouver or CTV news all the way :D

So she waited 7 years to say something, then when she did he apologized and stopped any inappropriate behaviour. Then she decides to raise the issue with management after the fact, gets fired 2 years later, wait another year and then brings it to the Canadian Human Rights Commission? What exactly does she expect to happen?

i heard about this on ctv last night. flipped over to global after and Chris wasn't on air. lol. wonder if he's gonna be on the side lines for a while.

Yes they can, as can anybody else, but I'm not sure what people expect when you don't do anything for 10 bleeping years.
Now it's a hot button social issue and she's looking to capitalize on it would be my guess.

Not dismissing the possibility of this being true, but if you're accused of something, it'd be nice if your name was kept out of the media until an allegation is proven.

I saw mark madryga get pretty drunk at caelis once, the place was pretty empty and him and his girl were just dancing it up. Must get pretty wild when him and gailus party together

Pretty sure these things occur more than often just behind the scenes
But this article was interesting specifically due to the fact he's an anchor of one of BC's biggest stations

been to many events where he has been - treats everyone like they're below him because he's on BC tv.

Tuned into the news today expecting to see this plastered all over the media as top story witch hunt on the guy.

Wasn't even mentioned.

Seems like no big deal that has blown over, or no one really cares.
