Not looking to spend too much, any help is appreciated Thanks |
Ugh, please don't. I don't even care that it's illegal; why would you want to make it harder for other people see you brake, or your car at night? |
I don't advise tinting your taillights but its your money... Google is your friend... lol VHT Nite-Shades Light Paint | Canadian Tire |
Stay the fuck away from tinting your tail lights you rice fuck. |
OP, do you by any chance live in Surrey? |
While you're at it, don't bother tinting your headlights... |

LED/OLED -> this is where everyone else is going. Which means they wanna make their lights brighter, not darker&harder to see. Follow the trend. You're doing it all wrong. IF what you're looking for is 'smoked' look which you can see from newer gen mb's and etc, get the proper light housings with proper bulbs inside which will still give you the light outputs bright enough for everyone else to notice while they're driving behind you. |
Reminds me of something I saw on Instagram recently: http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...psrbopxlbs.png This guy I guess turned on his signal and then merged into some other guy. And then got pissed about the guy not seeing his turn signal and hitting his car. So he ranted on instagram about it. Apparently I was the only person who noticed the fact that yeah it was probably impossible for any other car to see his brakelights or turn signals considering they look like they have been painted over with black paint. Picture of car in question: http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...psvuigazux.png Note: his headlights are also tinted like to the maximum. SMH. Don't tint your headlights or tailights, those are fucking safety items. |

lol!..are you sure he didn't paint them black because that's how they look, dumb fucker. |
So, dumb question. If taillight tint is illegal then how/why can/do people still have it on their cars? |

Woah everyone is blowing up, I'm not going for a pure black look like that picture or what everyone else may be thinking. I obviously want people to be able to see my lights. Mkhun thank you for the suggestion, I am going for a smoked look just go add to the "black" look of the entire car. But bright bulbs may be a good option as well until I get new set of lights. |
i dont mind the very faint light smoke tint i see on some cars. There was a black prefacelift panamera turbo i saw the other day with very very lightly smoked tails and it looked really nice |
Well back to the original question, does anyone know where I can get some smoke film locally? But not vht spray because I want to have the option of removing it. |

However I would absolutely NEVER do that to my car. Simple reason: say you get rear ended. If I rear ended a car with tint on their tailights, the first thing I would do is take a picture of the illegally tinted tailights to submit to ICBC. Now all of a sudden an accident which was 100 percent my fault could be 50 or 100 percent your fault. SCORE. Seem worth it? |
