So anyways, while waiting I picked up the only available magazine to numb my mind... with its usual propaganda about fighting diseases like AIDS and the man behind it on the cover... I found this little truth inside.

Almost half of the readers here will have a chronic disease as an adult, increased to 75% of you when you reach your senior years.

but how you might ask?
Heres a little paragraph that puts it in perspective or read the whole thing in the spoiler below.
Quote:

The salary provides for basic existence and nothing more. I live in a shared situation and constantly run into people like a dorm room situation. It costs 1000$ a month to live like this. There are retired people here in this situation too.

I had to return to the USA, but Israel and the USA are almost identical. They both resemble a huge department store and are completely controlled by corporations and people addicted to the products of corporations. Independent thought is almost non existent in both countries.

Spoiler!

Contrary to some of the extreme shit you post, this isn't a bad one CiC. I enjoyed reading that letter. The content is quite true and probably resonates with bunch of ppl on this forum working so hard barely supporting their car and house payments. Some probably rely heavily on their parents living with them to afford their car. Quite shameful really but unfortunately the society played a huge role shaping them that way.

Chronic problems for a broken healthcare system. Keep trying to stuff a round peg into a square hole. Pharma is not the solution for chronic long term conditions.

Speaking of cars the new ones have yet to expel much of the flame retardants that are hosed into the whole thing. With things like vinyl, and synthetic sheets like Polyester... these chemicals are locked in and continually release as it deteriorates over the life of the product... where as natural materials mostly expel it over decades thanks to UV rays from the sun.
With adults and children developing chronic diseases, ect the system only took out the product from children's pajamas.. but the cribs, and everything else in life is still tainted.

People buying corporate products... that scent you smell wasnt squeezed out of lemons for that apple pie or shampoo, the fragrance was made through petrochemicals... ie oil.

Its like the system is squeezing life of out humanity... work people while young.. keep us in debt... let us not afford real nutritiously grown food, then overload us with chemicals in which the bodies defense systems have already been beat and serve people an early death in a nursing home as to not be a drag on the economy.

Seriously, senior caring bots/drones are going to be huge.

ALL developed/quasi-developed countries have problem with senior care and they are the one with the most purchasing power.

The day any company announcing building an actual drone capable of caring seniors, I'm investing every single dime I have in that company.
