Borrow Gululu's Rolls-Royce Phantom.

Or a Ghost / Flying Spur / recent gen S-Class, 7 Series. Yes, I know it's a farther stretch and hard to borrow one of those. But would be interesting to a review in that segment, reviewed+driven by an 'average Joe'.

Here's a review of an ITR that some of you wanted, on the front page. Car is from a fellow RS member.

Review: 2000 Honda Integra Type-R (Modified) - REVscene.net - Vancouver's Top Classifieds and Automotive Forum

Also, don't mean to steal the thread here but I've been posting review on the front page of RS for some time now and I've got lots more on my site including from fellow RS members. Do you guys want me to start posting reviews on the forum instead?

^Looks like the rebuilt ITR that was for sale a little while ago for $8200

So my brother bought a 2017 Ford Fusion Sport AWD. He was showing it to me today. I was like 'meh' another refreshed gussied up trim package.

Then I drove it and read the spec sheet online and found this.

Quote:

2.7-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 that pumps out 327 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque delivered to all four wheels
**The 2017 Lincoln MKZ supposedly massages that number out to 400 horsepower

I must say it was pretty easy to get the needle lost in the speedometer. Perhaps a worthy review? Maybe with a narrative about how people are flocking to SUVs without a good reason other than market hype?

My brother has a 5 year old and an 8 month old child and still ended up with a spacious, quiet yet athletic sedan while saving thousands toward an SUV equivalent.

Been trying to get in touch with Ford, but I would love to find out more info from them. They have a lot of new cars thats seriously cool

The grammatical errors such as the misuse of commas and run-on sentences are quite glaring in the reviews. I think it would help if you had another pair of eyes (or two) to help proofread the text. Although it's only a forum-post review, fixing the grammar would make both you and the review come across as more professional.

Other than that, the reviews have gotten better in terms of what they cover and the photography. The initial ones seemed like reiterations of spec sheets. Keep up the good work!

Proper text+article formatting would be nice. Right now its just randomly Photo, Photo, WALL OF TEXT, Photo and etc. Good automotive journalism generally follows a pretty well defined formatting standard for good reason. Unfortunately nowadays no one will read anything more than a few lines at a time.

Proper formatting is hard for vB forums. I'd love to be able to do wrap around text or something like that, but I haven't figured out how to do that on here. Anyone have any tricks?

Proper punctuation has never been my strong suit. :p

Yea I've noticed a bunch of errors after going through them again.

Not to make excuses but I'm getting married in 2 days and I've been more concentrated on that more than anything else. But will try to improve my skills as I write along.

I do want to thank everyone for the feedback, without it I would not know where the errors are. I appreciate the love that's given and will keep at it!.

Hey guys, it's been a while and things have going pretty well in my eyes.

So far we got some good content up on our site, I'm pretty excited as I got a new rig so I should be able to get video reviews up soon. My question is, the later reviews I've posted on the front page is that something that you guys see or do you generally just enter the forum?

I don't go on front page because I didn't notice any value there. I wouldn't know if it has changed, my bookmarks are straight to forum

!Aznboi128 02-15-2017 09:10 AM

^ That's good to know. I feel a lot of people are the same.
