If you want strictly mega awesome birds of prey photos though, 200 minimum but 300 would be good enough, 4-600 is best. I used to use my old 70-300 with patience and I would come home with some decent images. Get Jason to go with you guys, maybe he'll bring some super teles from his work place for everyone to try out. However, the best time to go to Reifel would be late fall to winter. That's just my opinion though. |
