If anyone planning on taking their young kid(s) and planning on using tickets, I bought the 30tickets/$45 and have 16 left over, I'll dump them for 16 bucks, the little twins got scared after a few rides and they only thing they wanted to do was the slide and the LG working it let us go on so many times without using tickets. Not planning on going back they retired the bb rifle shoot out the star game it was the only thing I win stuff on regularly :okay:

JSALES 09-01-2016 07:14 PM

Don't forget......... free parking from 6:00 pm on Hastings Street. Just wait at gas station till 2 minutes before and then head out. Last time I went, two cars were parked with their hazard lights on.

Also, the block before Renfrew is pretty much open and IMHO, better.

In the morning, you can find parking up to 10:00 AM. You just have to remember to leave before 3:00 pm (rush hour).

Hondaracer 09-01-2016 07:52 PM

theres plenty of non-resident parking west of Renfrew as well, some of the fucking idiots who try to sell spots are blocking areas in front of houses which do not need permits, one day i'm just gonna push em out of the way with my vehicle

going away tom so PNE is done for me this year, probably good for my wallet, beer garden nights add up quick

MG1 09-01-2016 07:59 PM

Last week, I was picking up my son, but got there early. Found a bit of a gap between two cars. I just parked my little Smart EV perpendicular in the gap. People were like, holy shit, is he really going to park like that?

I guess in Vancouver, you can't like in other cities. I just had to wait for 10 to 15 minutes. The EV is as long as an F-150 is wide, lol.

Jonydakiller 09-01-2016 10:09 PM

I was there today and wow, the amount of ppl were significant less than last year.
I was there since 2pm and it was dry and I been going on vancity day for the last 3 years.
i overheard other ppl talking about how slow it is this year too
No lineup to get my Gator BBQ, i'll take it :fuckyea:

MG1 09-02-2016 02:37 AM

Free days were freaking busy. I went both days.

And, I've been going to the PNE since the 50's.

Hondaracer 09-02-2016 06:32 AM

Every Friday/Saturday I went was stupid packed

Will be interesting to see the numbers

6o4__boi 09-02-2016 07:49 AM

Verdasco 09-02-2016 12:53 PM

N.V.M. 09-02-2016 06:29 PM

MG1 09-02-2016 07:21 PM

MG1 09-02-2016 07:26 PM

had the bacon cotton candy and it was interesting lol

I wanted to try that new mini donut popsicle but was too full

MG1 09-03-2016 08:49 PM

You talking about the doughnuts on a stick? If so, I had the red velvet with real cream cheese glaze and it is very good. The deep fried coffee is pretty good, too. As a diabetic, I almost went into a coma after having two pieces, LOL.

MG1 09-03-2016 08:50 PM

Freestyle coke machine using last year's Beast cup, ftmfw!

$1.00 no tax for refills. Fanta zero peach, my favourite.

MG1 09-06-2016 07:29 AM

Well, that's it till next year. Overall, it was a good experience. I'm glad they're keeping the PNE going. It brings people together - a good local tradition.

I guess I didn't win the PNE house......... or a car.

MG1 09-06-2016 08:00 AM

Holy shit........... you're right. My bad. Well, if you win the house, make sure to hold an RS mini meat. I'll bring the RS Holy Grill and Frip will bring his sausage.

C'mon, there's more than one car available............... we can share the hopes on that one, at least.
