I wouldn't bother with anything that has a fan...that's going to be the weakest link and once that goes your light will overheat and die.

reverse/signals are completely different form factor/wattage.

drop-in LED don't exist for low/high beams yet...only foglights

I've never bought from vleds before but my buddy tells me they are quite good quality, but a little pricey lol. The one you listed looks hella bright though!!

As twitchyzero mentioned, the fan ones are no good. A buddy of mines asked me to help him buy this one you listed as he didn't know too much about car lights. It's hot, noisy and flickers depending on your car electrical system. He ended up giving it to me since he didn't like it lol. I can even show you in person if you wanted to see it.

I bought a set of Philips Super White (?) LED 921 reverse lights ($22 USD) and I'm going to pick a pair of PIAA Xtreme White Plus at Lordco tomorrow ($76 CDN) because they are on sale.

I've decided to go with the LED route for my fogs, in a yellow colour as it's more effective. My basis is that I don't always run with the fogs on, I only need them during certain situations.

I like the reputation at Morimoto has with the Xterra crowd, so I'm looking at these two options now:

Obviously the first one is more expensive because it includes the housing, BUT it is DOT legal. I think this is probably a plus to have all DOT legal headlights on my truck, so I think I'm going to save up for those. In comparison, the PIAA Ion Yellow H11 fog light is $60 USD on amazon, but don't think that is bright enough for what I want.

tighter install then i'd like, but still fits.
less throw than my morimoto HIDs, as expected
was surprised how bright it was...the instant on-off makes it suitable for high beam flashing unlike HIDs
phillip SMDs and the rest of the unit seems pretty high build quality..let's hope they last
cutoff photo was a lot closer than the recommended 20ft. I think it's still a little high but not that far off from the recommended light drop-off (this kit is adjustable right on the bulb)
didn't mod the halogen projector hence the squirrel finders. I'm surprised at the clean cut-off.

I'm curious how it looks on the road though, like how it lights up the ground.
Originally the 9006 bulbs in my Integra sucked ass, all you could see were two hot spots straight down the lane in front. I've since thrown some 9012 HIR bulbs in and it has been a massive improvement, I could actually see the sidewalk adjacent to me, but I am curious how the LED bulb throws out the light, distance and width-wise (if that makes sense), in a halogen projector.

Or if anyone has put LED bulbs in Integra projectors let me know how it is :D

the throw kind of sucks in a tC (but the headlamp lens is also like 30% oxidized/hazed)

so not all halogen projectors are made the same even in the same make. You just have to give it a go to know...so find something with decent return policy.

From the factory, accords didn't come with projectors until 2008. Even then, only the coupe for projectors. Best you take a quick look at your own headlights to see if they're projectors or reflectors.

i bought their hid morimoto kit a few years ago a retrofited them into my tacoma but for the accord i just want plug n play

just get the brightest halogen bulb and save money?
i assume led kits will just be a glare fest in reflectors...someone more knowledge can correct me if im wrong
