The going rate is as much as you're willing to pay. There is no blue book that says 4 GB is worth $100. If you look hard enough, and some of us already have, we're paying $48 for 5 GB.

I just don't understand how people cannot scrounge for deals online. Maybe they're lazy or just oblivious.
You're right. It all depends on how hard you want to fight/look. However I'm mostly referring to the BIG 3 and it is near impossible now to get something significantly better than the plans posted online which hasn't changed too much for the past couple years(going rate). Yourself has mentioned the "average" is 90$ for the big 3.

Personally I'm paying 60$ for basically unlimited calls and 5gb data on telus.

If people are willing to move out of the BIG 3, you dont even have to scrounge. 40$ on WIND gets you everything. But despite the hate on big 3, they are the most reliable IMO. (at least for telus, i've had 0 problems in the past 15 years). My friend on WIND gets shit reception in buildings and large crowded events.

Off topic kinda , but can I take my iPhone 6 from bell to wind mobile? I assume I have to get my phone unlocked from bell? Or am I SOL since my phone is locked to bell?

Get it unlocked from Bell and your iPhone 6 will work with Winds 3G network.

So many people run wind mobile outside of Vancouver. Such as the interior okanagan? Or is it to costly because it isn't in the home price. I see they have home and away providers
