2017 Ford Raptor

Anyone else excited for this? Just looking at it raises my testosterone and makes me want to wear a monster energy drink hat.

450HP 510 lb-ft of torque.
$85,000 full option though and dealers here are price gouging like no tomorrow :(

Mr.Money 09-30-2016 10:36 PM

when u start using aluminum, rivets, and adhesives to build trucks. u know that thing is built weak.

looks good, but cheap underneath with cost saving production methods. cut corners but consumers wont know a difference.

turning almost into like a honda ridgeline, all about novelty and looks, but no real hard contents.

doesnt matter what they spin it as. ford marketing loves to fool u.

aluminum should have no place on a civilian use truck.

evlee 10-01-2016 10:05 AM

Just like how BOVs should have no place on a civilian soccer mom's crossover.

am i the only one thats not happy about the ecoboost being the only motor available for this thing? call me old school but theres only 2 types of motors a full size truck should have, a v8 or a diesel.

MarkyMark 10-01-2016 12:00 PM

The lack of a V8 is kinda dumb. Looks super badass but sounds like a Honda when you stomp on it.

I hear the speakers make a faux V8 sound in the cabin on the new F150s, lol.

really? FailFish

and yes, ecoboost trucks with exhaust dont sound good at all. its just raspy V6 exhaust noise...

Personally I would go with the Shelby over a Raptor any day.

2016 Shelby F-150 Review, Specs, Price, 0-60

Berz out.

i wouldn't be surprised to see the raptor f150 Shelby at dealers, the normal 2015 f150 got this treatment and there only a hand full that sold here,i say Five....one blue, one red,one murdered out black,White,Silver.

They looked damn nice,i don't know where they went in Vancity cause i never saw one driving around yet,And the price tag was massive: 100 grand.

There was one at the auto show. I think it had a price tag of $150k. Lol.

GabAlmighty 10-01-2016 07:34 PM

I had one, they're fun but all but useless up here. Would've rather had a diesel.

Hondaracer 10-02-2016 12:19 AM

The extended cab versions look gross

bcuzracecarz 10-02-2016 12:50 AM

I'm the opposite, I think the single cabs are uglier

mekaw 10-02-2016 07:03 PM
