Quick question in regards to parking
Long story short, my fiancée parked and paid for parking for 1 hr. $3.33 using the paybyphone app. We get back to find a ticket on the dash and then realized that she paid for the right stall but to my other car's license plate.
The penalty is low $35 but what are the chances of them cancelling it since it was obviously a small mistake and it was paid for anyways. Some advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

you could call the parking company and provide them proof of payment for that time frame and see what they say

happened to a coworker and he called in and they reversed it right away. they checked that you did indeed paid but for the wrong plate. can't recall if it was CoV or private lot

Well this is city of Vancouver parking so I'm not sure if they're gonna be nice about it or not. Private parking probably would be but most people that work for the city are assholes and hate their job lol

Hey, I got a ticket reversed before from the city. Call and ask. They were actually decent on the phone. Just calmly explain what happened and treat them like human beings and they might void it.

My girlfriend did the samething and it was COV. They cancelled the ticket once they confirmed

All you can do is ask. Worse case scenario is they will say no but best case is ticket will be cancelled.
