remote starter issue i got a compustar 2Wg5R-SH and every time i enable the auto start it only keeps the car running for 5 minutes then turn off. if i auto start the car and get in under 5 minutes and put the key in then the compustar remote will make some beeping noises and lock the doors(but car stays on)... is there a way to program the unit? when i first bought the car the compustar was set up the start the car for 15 minutes then shut off unless they key is put in but now for some reason its all messed up. any help would be great! thanks |
What happened to initiate the change? Battery die? Jump someone? |
Battery died when it was at the autobody shop and we had to put it on a charger. |
That's an easy fix...Bring it into an authorized Compustar facility for a reset. We al have a controller that allows us to reset all of the features |
