spacers

i'm upgrading the brakes on my 4runner and looks like i need 1/4" for the fronts to clear my current wheels...who makes quality ones, and where's the best place (online) to order them?

The typical sizes are 5mm, 8mm, 10mm. 1/4" is a bit over 6mm so you'll likely need 8mm slip on ones, anything hubcentric should work. Just make sure the wheel studs are long enough to be okay with the loss of length.

ya i'm sure 8mm is fine....where to buy though?

Might be hard to find hubcentric spacers that are only 6-8mm thick for a Taco. By that I mean both on the hub and to the wheel. Pretty sure the hub sticks out more than 8mm from the WMS.

You can probably find some that fit the hub perfectly but what does it really matter if the wheels become lugcentric anyways?

I found these ones, that should be close enough. Only 1mm off, if you can centre it before installing the wheel.

Here's another possible option: If there's enough meat on the caliper/mount to facilitate it, clearance them, til the wheel fits. If it's a common swap, there should be how-to's on the subject.
