2000 Spectre blue mica Toyota Celica GT-S

First off let me say that if mileage numbers scare you, this is NOT the car for you and I'd recommend others. Having said that, if you know Toyota's and their well earned reputation for longevity and reliability, the numbers will mean nothing - or at least little, as this will be amongst the nicest examples you will find regardless of mileage! If you've seen what's out there for Celica's, you will know they are few and far between in excellent shape.

This is a 2000 Spectra Blue Mica (quite rare) Celica GT-S with black leather in excellent condition overall. Mechanically and cosmetically you simply will not believe how well this car has been taken care of in it's 16 years.

I am the third owner, but the second owner had it the bulk of its' life (from 2003 to 2016) The reason for the high mileage is he lives in Langley and commuted 5 days a week to Agassiz....which means he literally put on 700km's per week - all highway - for very nearly its lifespan! The car was not used in city stop and go traffic and because of this, it has literally been preserved and shows extremely little signs of wear.

The paint is exceptional with no dents or door dings, etc....and the interior (shy of very minor drivers left side upper seat bolster wear) is in excellent condition as well. No tears, cracks or fading.

The car is all original as far as paint - zero accidents and unlike many out there, not a rebuild. It is bone stock, mechanically and always adult owned. Only modification is the stereo system. Everything works exactly as it did when new and there are no coolant/power steering fluid/oil leaks whatsoever. Inspections are more than welcome. It is in need of nothing, mechanically (or otherwise) Upon my purchase, I opted to get a compression check to ensure the engine was healthy. (Very) happily I learned that the compression was still spot-on. 170/165/165/160psi on all 4 cylinders. The engine is good for years, provided it's properly maintained. The second (previous) owner has run strictly synthetic 5w30 since day 1 and I believe a big part of the cars incredible condition is the love he had for the car.

As it is a GT-S model, it was the top line Celica and all available options came with it. Full leather interior (seats, steering wheel, shift knob/boot and door inserts) - keyless entry/alarm, ABS, dual front airbags, dual heated seats, A/C, tilt steering, cruise, premium (7 speaker) sound system (upgraded head unit and aftermarket sub in a box - easily removable for extra storage) - power moonroof, 180hp Vvt-i engine, 6 speed gearbox, power windows and mirrors, fold down rear seats, etc....

These are very light cars, weighing just over 2500 pounds (in the first few years they were the lightest, and generally considered the quickest) The power is excellent and she pulls very nicely in all gears. The really nice thing is you will also get 500km's out of a city tank. I usually average 28-30 mpg in all city driving. And the handling is brilliant. Very fun, tossable, predictable car with incredibly responsive reflexes.

These really are the ultimate combination of power, economy, ridiculous reliability, handing, utility, looks, comfort, fun and rarity - for a reasonable price. I love it and hate to part with it, but my work dictates I need more room in the back and this is just a bit small, so she needs a new home. Again, if mileage is a concern, please move on. But see it before you decide anything. You will not be disappointed, I pretty much guarantee you.

The price is $4000 and I am not looking for offers as I know what is out there and feel this is fair, regardless of mileage.
