Power rangers the movie I still remember when I was a kid I used to them after school. New moive Seems pretty cool. |
Doesn't feel the same anymore period, i duno why |
I feel reasonably certain that at least parts of the movie were shot in Vancouver -- the single detached homes in the background in 0:08 and 0:10; is that Van Tech in 0:12? and is that Steveston at 0:17? I don't recognize the school scenes, but I would not at all be surprised that it is Van Tech, Templeton, or some other local school. |
yea, it's vancouver |
Didn't know it was film in Van. But it seems the movie is taken a darker theme. Might be a good thing too. |
HAHA. i had a feeling and rewind it to see it again. It is van tech that they filmed at. :D the vfx is really good, to change the front of the school and make it look like another location. |
It's a local production. Vancouver and Kamloops were, I believe, predominantly the shooting locations. |
It is most certainly a vancouver production. A buddy of mine from work is gonna be in a scene or 2 of this. |

I'd still watch the crap out of it. People in tight suits, check. Robots, check. Monsters, check. I'm good with that |

nononononononononononono yuck |
wtffffff; so ugly but yes, typical Steveston corridor back drop for sure. |
LOL~ I keep getting distracted by the Vancouver backdrops, and my mind just keeps wandering off to think of where that scene was shot every time a local background comes up. |
I thought in this era of CGI and such things like Robots would look sick as fuck but why it that they keep making them look disgusting. Transformers, Power Rangers just to name a couple. |
