Hah! I've heard of this guy on the Retail Nightmares podcast where they talked about him harassing a server, seems he's pissed off quite a few people. He leaves a number of reviews on Yelp as well.

I sometimes do this depending what I'm selling or the tone of the email. Some people you can tell you don't want to talk to them but you also don't want to totally write off the chance you could sell to them.

Kind of the sign of the times though? I mean I know people at work who email coworkers sitting in the next cubicle.

Personally, I like corresponding by emails or text. I like having a trail I can look back at.
