Rich Messaging For Android.

Say hello to the next phase of Android Messaging - About Rogers
Google's competitor for iMessage is coming to android users on Rogers and Fido starting today. I hope it will be as well implemented as iMessage to be my default messagjng app.

It's going to take a bit. Until all the carriers and manufacturers join in it'll be hit or miss. Some carriers have already enabled group mms for android for example, but some manufacturers haven't enabled the setting on the hardware as they weren't required to.

Why not just use whatsapp and/or facebook messenger?

As an android user it would be so awesome to have something as well integrated as iMessage. I hope this all pans out as well as Google is hoping it does.

Wtf is Google doing? They were pushing Allo and now this? Which one do they want people to use? Nothing will ever be mainstream when they make it confusing as fuck.

Something that works with everyone, no matter what platform they're on including desktop? How is that a bad thing?
