Artificial Tree Recycling Maybe my google-fu is not up to par, but I can't find anything about recycling artificial trees in the lower mainland. All I can find are recycling or chipping real trees. It doesn't seem quite so well to just huck it into the dumpster, are there places where I can drop off a tree where they can recycled or re-purposed? |

Seems like dumpster is your only option. :okay: |
You can call value village and ask if they'll take it or Salvation Army. |
put it in a dumpster. and ignite fire LOL |
Try Craigslist and list it as free. Maybe someone willing to take it off your hands. |
Skip the craigslist and just put it in the alley and write free on it. I do that all the time with stuff I don't want and am too lazy to dispose of properly. It's usually gone in a day. |
Yea a Free tag usually clears stuff out pretty quick. One mans trash is another mans treasure they say. Berz out. |

The reason for this being, if someone doesn't want it, who is gonna come pick it up? Surely if someone doesn't pick it up, most people won't go back and get it themselves... What's to stop me from dumping a dozen mattresses in some random alley, then when the cops come knock on my door, I point out that I had a free sign on them? Sorry that's not quite how it works. |
I guess dumpster it is then. |
Just shove it out the door going down hwy 1 |
1. Go to Transfer Station Recycling section. 2. Toss top half in plastic bin. 3. Toss bottom half in metal bin. 4. Flirt with weigh station girl 5. ??? 6. Profit |
Take it to Salvation Army.. they take anything.. vs Value Village where they must be able to make money so they would refuse a tree. I like the Sally Ann at New West, they take pretty much anything that is of any use (and not infested). |
