Has happened 7 times in the last 2 weeks in my complex in Abby, including my gfs car.

In all 7 cases each car was locked, broken into and there was 0 damage.

I think in this technological/digital era, hacking/unlocking the program isn't that hard for computer geeks.

Maybe we should go back to old fashion way to lock the car.

I think if I lived in an apartment, I would use a steering wheel lock club. Nothing is 100% safe guarantee, but I figured it would at least help deter the thieves from attempting since it will look like it's a hassle for them to steal the car.

Sounds about right. Thieves will always be one step ahead so do what you think is best. Personally, I like that OBD lock cover they had

Wow, in cdizzle's case, sounds like they are stealing stuff inside the car rather than stealing the cars themselves.

I wonder how effective an aftermarket alarm system would be?
