Are there a lot of mid-20s Asian people in Victoria? Very weird question for you, but the wife's cousin is planning a move soon, his background is Vietnamese, from Calgary which is about 25% asians. he is 26, a good kid, I watched him grow up Has a career opportunity in Victoria BC but he is worried about the asian demographic, will he fit in and will he find women to date. he is quite tattooed and works out, not a hipster type. He has asked us since we moved here from AB too, we live in the sticks near Qualicum for my job. we go into Nanaimo and Vancouver often, but haven't spent much time in Victoria besides the usual touristy stuff. It seems like kind of an old folks town to me ( and I already feel old lately) Weird question I know... Enjoy your weekend everyone To the website owner, please do not place it to the Island zone because I think that zone has very few readers |
Tatooed Vietnamese who works out? Bet he'll have no difficulty finding girls. |

It's predominately Chinese there in terms of Asians. The vast demographic is white. Esquimalt has more Natives than any other part of the city. Near Camosun and UVic are where you'll find the most Asian people. Lets just say, in the whole city, there are only two pho places that I know of that are legit Viet. In my five years at UVic, I only met one nammer guy. |
Wait, are there lots of Viets in Qualicum ??? |
Especially since he is still so young, he should consider dating someone outside of his ethnicity comfort zone. He won't know how he likes it until he's tried it! (and I mean this in both a serious sense and in the :ifyouknow: sense) |

Move to Richmond. / thread. |
probably not unless he's also into college girls. though i'm sure that's changing as more vancouverites are moving to the island. |
He said 25-30 no kids And the job opportunity is only in Victoria not Richmond unfortunately |
