impark ticket I got a ticket from impark when I had paid for the parking fee. But I didnt have the recepit since I didnt need one at that parking lot. The parking fee was paid by credit card. So do I need to pay for the ticket? |
I've probably paid 1 out of 5 tickets from impark lol |
Unfair parking fees on private lots aren't tickets ? so you don't need to pay them, expert says - Business - CBC News But if you did pay, call up your cc for the transaction/authorization number. Call Impark with the said info, they should be able to cancel your ticket. |
Call them, explain what happened. If they aren't cooperative about it, don't pay - change your plates for $18 if you plan on using impark lots in the future. |
Had this happen before. The credit card item should come with a number, check your online banking. Call and tell them the number they will void it. |
If you don't pay the ticket, do they mess with your credit rating? |
They have the same power to affect your credit rating as Mr random joe on the street. Correct me if I'm wrong, but when Impark sends your ticket to "collections", it is just some guy in their own internal collections department. so... no they have no power to mess with your credit rating |
i have probably around 300+ letters from impark, they have stopped after 3 years, didn't pay them a cent |
Might wanna block out your address... |
Call in and explain, your CC will show that you paid. Impark will probably drop it if you supply proof of payment. IME as well as my friends and coworkers, Impark is one of the better / far less scumbag companies. They voided a ticket of mine no questions asked when I showed proof that I was in fact eating at a restaurant within the lot I parked in and apologized for the inconvenience. |
you're fine. as long you dont have a lot of outstanding tickets. |
if you paid the original ticket by credit card - request for proof of purchase. card issuer is obligated to provide you proof of purchase. Use that to support your claim with Impark. |
