Pioneer P8400 Screen Cutting Out/ Restarting

I have a P8400 double din and over the last year it started to shut off and restart when the car hit bumps in the road. Sometimes it would restart simply by you touching the screen or physical buttons. Some times the restart is instant sometimes it doesn't happen right away and it gets very annoying. Anyone else run into or heard of this? I think it is something to do with the detachable face plate connection but everything seems tight and always connected. Any idea what the fix could be? I've had tons of detachable face plate decks before and never ran into this issue. :QQ:

Thanks

often times the ribbon cable or the contacts on the faceplate have issues.

Try cleaning both ends of the contacts.

What is the best way to clean it? It is pretty much gold pins and I've wiped it with a cloth before

I've used some rubbing alcohol on the end of a q-tip before.

Thanks I'll give that a try to see if anything improves

I've been lazy but I did a alcohol and q tip clean on all the connectors and it seems to have improved. I haven't had the screen cut out since I did this. Thanks for the suggestion!!
