^ sure its a dodge but its not a Dodge Avenger. Its still a limited production car. This will hold its value pretty well i think. Especially decades down the road. Just like the cool mopars of the 70s. I hope it comes in plum crazy purple :megusta: |

392 Hemi Ave. ask for bobby (bobbi?). good luck. if you do end up getting one please splurge on the $1 and get the passenger seat because i want a ride in this thing  |
I do like the chief engineer's word though. Muscle cars nowadays are trying too hard to be sportscars. Mustang and Camaro are doing laps around Nurburgring trying to beat GT-R and 911 Turbo. Dodge Demon's goal was to do 1/4 mile drag strip quickly as possible, because it is a muscle car. |

So yesterday I went to one of the two Dodge dealerships in town. This one was three minutes from my house the other was six minutes away. Took the R8 so they know I mean business. The sales guy did not have any info on the car but took my email. I got this email today. This was the email the salesman got from Dodge. Quote:

most likely if you bought Viper or some sort of SRT-8 you'll be Higher on the list with the purchase history.. There's also those Old ass Crypt Keepers buying them for collection only never driving it. |
Went to Dodge dealer #2 today. They already have a deposit for one. If I want to get in line it will be a 5k refundable deposit. If they can get one for me I will get a call and it will be what ever color they can get in. Will be able to pick some options like if I want a passenger seat. The cost will be over MSRP. Around 20k to 25k over from what I remember. Also the dealer told me the car can actually do 0 to 60 in 2.1 seconds. Dodge Demon 0-60 MPH Is Actually 2.1 Seconds |
Refundable deposit placed. 2nd in line after SR Auto. |
^+1 would pay to get a ride in the demon :sweetjesus: |
When Cycle World tested it, the Kawasaki Ninja H2R did 0-60mph in 2.6 seconds and 1/4 mile in 9.62 seconds. So it will beat the Demon in 1/4 mile drag race. :accepted: http://www.cycleworld.com/sites/cycl...nja-H2R-11.jpg |

2 things are going to have to happen for me to get this car. 1. The dealer will have to get more than one car. 2. The Added dealer markup has to be within reason. I don't wan to pay 30k to 40k above MSRP. |

Snipet That 0-60 mph time of 2.3 seconds? Technically the Demon can, and has, done better. Depending how you measure it, the Demon is capable of a 2.1-second 0-60 mph run in stock form. Of course, that's with the optional Direct Connection powertrain controller, no passenger seat or rear seat--which themselves are options--and running 100-octane racing fuel. So in other words it will never do that on the street with 94 octane. |

I wonder how long before someone installs a duel fuel system with a separate tank with 100 oct. Imagine seeing one on the street with a cage and parachute on the back. |
Here's a thought. Since we're only getting 300 for Canada, its safe to assume that it would be very difficult for any dealer to get more than 1. Since there's no order allocation yet, dealers are just accepting deposits but it doesn't necessarily mean you get seniority based on an earlier deposit placed. Once the order bank opens, dealers can throw in 3-5 orders in at the same time and wish that one gets accepted. If that order is yours and you're willing to pay the ADM then that's great for you. Aside from ADM issues, FCA may even start looking at your portfolio a la Porsche and determine if you're a worthy customer. Seems ridiculous for Dodge but it might happen for a low production car. |

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...on&_sacat=6000 Looks like people are paying 40 to 50K US Just to get a chance to buy one at MSRP. |
