Cold Air Intakes legal?

First car post in all my years at revscene.

Would anyone know if cold air intakes are legal in Alberta? I tried googling and it just leads me to store websites and crap forums.

Thanks,

My best guess is -- it'll come down to your insurance company. When I was in Ontario eons ago, that's how modding worked. Some insurance companies will allow certain mods, while another company would disallow the very same item. At the time, TD insurance specifically told me that they will cancel my insurance if I were to lower my car.
