Mounties investigating threat against Richmond high school | CTV Vancouver News

Are you fcking kidding me. Dumbest grad prank ever. Little shit deserves everything that's coming to him/her

Edit: snapped my little cousin (who's in Mcmath) he's been in lock down in first block, couldn't even go for lunch. Apparently lots of cops there, arrests are being made. But that's from a 10th grader locked in glass so take it with a grain of salt

Youth arrested after threat investigation at Richmond school | CTV Vancouver News

Quote:

A male suspect has been arrested following an alleged threat posted online involving a Metro Vancouver high school.
Details about the nature of the threat haven’t been confirmed, but Mounties said the target was Robert Alexander McMath Secondary School in Richmond.
Mounties said the school was put in to a hold-and-secure as officers were dispatched to the grounds to respond to the threat.
Students and staff remained at the school until 2:30 p.m., when RCMP said the threat had been "resolved." Students were then dismissed.
A message posted to the school district's website Tuesday morning assured parents that all students and staff were safe.
"McMath students are currently remaining in their first period classrooms in response to a concerning message that was posted recently," it read.
Police have provided few details on the specifics of the threat, but said that their investigation began Monday afternoon. School liaison officers were called in when students noticed some Wi-Fi identifiers had been changed.
"This investigation has not progressed into a series of threats directed towards the school," a statement from RCMP said.
Cpl. Dennis Hwang said all reports of threats to students and staff are taken seriously, and that they’d worked alongside the Richmond School District to conduct a safety assessment.

goddamn

i remember when the goofs would pull fire alarms to disrupt classes on purpose and it was annoying enough but this is just fucked up

Those screenshots posted are legit. My brother who goes to McMath took the same screenshots. From what I hear from my brother:

Monday: WiFi spoofing followed by the police showing up. The school sent out an email saying that the threat is not serious, and parents should talk to their children. IMO worst email ever. It's vague; tells me no information that my brother will be safe at school.

Tuesday: the arrested youth was in Grade 9 (moron), they were only searching samsung phones. Some kid (also in grade 9) took a picture of someone and said, "<---McMath SHOOTER!" That kid proceeded to post it on the McMath SnapChat story, who then got suspended LOL

Wednesday: Wrong person arrested, gg.

fire alarms are nothing! I used to throw fart bombs into different glass garbage and walk away..... it was pretty funny watching the people and the teacher going into class covering their nose..... then I did it to one class totally forgetting I have to be in that class next...... what goes around comes around :rukidding:

I guess it's safe then.
