Question about paint dry time in hot weather

I spray-painted primer on the trunk weatherstrip area of my civic yesterday (around noon, and mid-afternoon), after removing all rust from the area, and before I put on a new weatherstrip. The paint says to only repaint within 2 hours of the previous layer, or otherwise after 48 hours of dry-time.

Will the warm weather that we're having reduce the dry-time before I can repaint the vehicle enough so that I could paint the colour coat today, or should I wait until tomorrow?

My car's sitting outside, in the sun for some hours in the day, but in the shade for more hours out of the day.

Only thing that can make paint dry faster is if you watch it ... the sun, dry heat won't do a damn thing.

I tried a bit of additional primer on top of the previous layer, and it did this.



I guess putting more paint on top of paint that hasn't fully dried but has partly hardened caused the partly-hardened paint to re-liquefy, move, and cause these folds.

I'll wait a couple of days, then sand it, and then either re-primer it and wait. Or, if there's still enough primer on it after sanding and it's smooth, maybe I'll just put the colour coat on it then.
