auto and flat glass tinting stable field to get into? Wanting a change in what I do, I have experience doing auto, learning flat glass in a week or two. Is this something with stable income? anyone with experience with a shop can give me input? |
I don't know diddly squat about tinting but I'll give you the price I paid for all my rear windows in my sportwagen. 150 dollars from a guy in Richmond. 5% tint too. Took the guy about 2-3 hours to do it. Seems like a lot of work and not much pay. |
ive never seen the small shops last long enough because the big glass and auto/detail shops get so much of the work and i dont think glass tint is as big of a thing as it used to be since most new cars come with tinted rear 3 now. most auto tint shops also seem to be auto wrap, etc shops. and most flat glass coating shops also seem to be glass shops. as a fellow entrepreneur tho, i hope it works out for you! |

I found him on craigslist. Didn't save the number but just look around Craigslist in Richmond. Has a shop on no3 road close to Aberdeen. |

I got my windows tinted from him. Looks like a mom and pop shop. |
I believe so. The small little garage right next to the old TNT |
