Shipping stuff to Philippines

I'd like to ship >20lbs of stuff to the Philippines. The usual carriers want more money than the stuff is worth.

Does anyone have recommendations on who to use for shipping stuff overseas? Expedience doesn't matter! It's just gotta be cheap and reliable.

Why don't you do like everyone else and pack it yourself in used fruit/appliance boxes and duct tape all over it? Then argue with the gate check-in agent that it's meets the weight requirements because it's per person and the rest of your party is at the destination waiting for this stuff and then forcing me to be late thru security and almost miss my flight to Tucson.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Maybe try shipping from the US. You can check prices online. Shipping companies here charge n arm and a leg.
