Who purchased Star Wars Battlefront II ?
 

Seems like EA got a lot of angry players on their asses. Mainly the loot boxes, and they lower the amount of credit you get after completing the campaign earned players a unique loot crate that contained 20,000 credits. That reward is now 5,000 credits.

Now it seems like they lower the cost of heros but damage is done. SO many people complain and even file for a refund. I mean people paid $80 for the game, EA shouldn't even put loot boxes in the game where people can buy it. I mean yea if the game was f2p that's understandable.

Have anyone purchase the game yet? How was it?

im gonna get it for 10 dollars. can't complain.

I stopped buying EA games a while ago because of loadout purchases etc. I think that started back in Medal of Honor or something. I only agree with loot boxes if it is purely cosmetic. Oh well, will never be able to change it now.

On Reddit, it says EA removed the refund button on their customer portal, so now ppl have to wait hours in the customer service queue in order to get a refund.

Have you played the new forza 7 yet? You don’t get extra credits for turning off driver aids anymore. But now you can buy “look crates” with cars and avatar in them. Fuck off.

I imagine it is way more profitable to do it this way :( I'd imagine each company will do it like this soon.

I haven't bought anything EA since they started fucking with the NHL franchise.

then EA caved in and turned down the credits for beating single players and lowing the points to cost to unlock the 2 extra heros...luke and darth vader.

In the original, every time you play a match, you get in-game currency to buy shit with, proportionate to whether you won or lost, etc.

Now they've capped credits you can earn in a certain timeframe, so playing more =/= more credits.

It's essentially a pay-to-play mobile game, except you've spent $80 on it.

Fuck that noise, and fuck EA.

I think that only arcade mode. Multiplayer is not capped, but you earn the same no matter how well you do.

^You're right, but their reasoning is what pisses me off.

They said they limited credits earned in arcade to avoid people exploiting the system as to not affect multiplayer....while simultaneously having loot crates for multiplayer.

It's a shame because I actually liked the first game, despite its flaws.

Also, the BBC is covering this whole thing now lol and they've reached out to EA for comment.

after EA fucked up mass effect Andromeda so bad, I will never buy a game from them on launch ever again
