Latest iOS update problems

Who else is encountering problems?

Last night my iPhone updated to the latest iOS even though I didn’t want it to. I usually wait a few weeks before I do the update. First big problem so far is that my iPhone 6S battery is down to 62% from 100%. Usage is the same as always and I’m usually at 95%. I can’t figure out what is causing the battery drain. I had to redo my settings for my email back to manual push again.

How do you turn off auto bright?
My iPhone screen keeps changing on its own.
Never mind, I found it under accessibility now.

You will have to manually turn off wi-fi on settings and it will be permanently off until you re-turn it on.

If you have a 6S make sure you check the apple recall for batteries.
Go to this link and put in your serial number and it will tell you if you qualify for free battery replacement.

I had a really weird thing happen to day. My coworker got an iPhone X and was setting it up. I was playing a game and in the middle of the game the screen changed and the "Setup New iPhone" message appeared. He was sitting right beside me at the time and had just turned on his X and was looking at the Hello screen. I wish I was quick enough to get a screen grab but it went away as fast as it came. Super weird.

same thing happened to me while i was waiting to pick up my iPhone X at Apple Store yesterday.

My old iPhone was still on sitting at the table doing nothing and that same screen notification popped up :lawl:

The only issue I’ve been having since I got my 8+ is that the screen won’t automatically turn off after the predetermined time. Whether to turn screen to turn off in 30 seconds or a minute of no use, the screen just stays on.

The biggest issue is that it doesn’t happen all the time, so it’s very hard to replicate on demand. Doesn’t matter if there are apps open in the background or not. Really frustrating and I’ve run my battery down a few times at work when I go to my locker, and the screen has been on for a few hours without anyone touching it.

Lots of people hve had the issue online, no fix other than “restarting your phone” which makes no difference

Here is the latest Big problem with the iOS update as of yesterday it causes your phone to reboot all the time. I called Rogers this morning and was told this problem started yesterday. Good thing I have a backup iPhone to use until I can go through the steps to hopefully fix this problem.

The fix seems to work as my iPhone has not rebooted since I downloaded the patch.
