Local Events: GLOW

Hey Guys,

Had a chance to visit Glow at Milner Village Garden Centre in Langley. The location was a bit further depending on travels comparing to Enchant of last year but the venue was completely indoors great for Vancouver's unpredictable weather.

With 103,000 sq ft of lights including a musical tunnel, the experience is surreal.

Parking is free however tickets are $20.

Thank you for sharing this post with us. This would be a nice format moving forward with other events (seasonal or otherwise), that people could share their experiences and some pictures.

Since I have no one to go with, I'll live through all the comments and pictures. :alone:

My wife and I went to Glow, last night.

We got there around 6, and it was already starting to get busy.

Overall, the lights were okay. The stand-outs would be the corridor of lights, and the "icicle cavern". There were vendors, and food trucks. Basically, the same ones you'd find at other Fraser Valley events.

We would not do it again, next year. $20/pp is steep for this kind of event.

How does it compare to VanDusen Garden?

Presto 12-15-2017 10:34 AM

VanDusen is way better. Glow is a pop-up in comparison.

Actually, most of Christmas-style events that we went to this year were way better value than Glow.

I was there last night as well. Same time. I agree with every point above. Even my kids said it was “just alright.”

Worth checking out once but probably won’t see us next year.
