Camera impulse buy Hi guys, I currently own a Sony A6000 camera and have been a fan of the mirrorless variety. I just did a impulse buy: Sony A7R MkII $2999 Sony SEL 24-70mm F4 FE OSS $899 (reg $1399) Apparently the deal was if you buy it as a bundle they would take $500 off the lens. You guys think this is a decent deal? |
it's alright definitely not hot enough for me to impulse buy given that the new a7R III is 'only' 25% more love the mark II though...I also upgraded to it from the a6000...you're in for a treat |
Well... you bought it already. No point having buyer remorse. Now go out and shoot some pics with the new rig! |
I can always return lol..........the A7r III is a good $1000 more. After I bought it Best Buy changed the bundle to $4298 before tax...........felt like I was getting a decent deal. |
I would wait till boxing day for deals and trade in your a6000 |

For sure I'll wait to see what boxing day brings, still a little on the fence. |
The best camera you have, is the one you have with you. Don't think that just because you got a nice full frame A7RII that all your pictures will make into a calender no matter what the light or anything. Just get out there and shoot! (I should take my own advice) |
^^^ don't get me wrong I use my cell phone camera all the time. But just for those special moments in life I want to capture with something better. The A6000 has been a great travel companion and take great pictures, but I couldn't justify buying a decent lens that's not full frame but it is a great point and shoot camera. |
Returned the A7R ii and said F'it and preordered the iii. |
