Whats the best quality olive oil for a decent price Many producers are mixing oils, even Safeways brand... what is your brand, the price you pay, and which stores sell them? Quote:

Costco for the balance of quality and price imo. Believe the two bottles they sell are both organic and mechanically pressed. There is no way you’re going to get ultra high quality OO for cheap. |
any that is not produced by the zionist regime and where none of the proceeds go to further the zionist cause |
depends on what you want to do with olive oil, if you cook with olive oil on high heat it pretty much destroys any flavours it offers. olive oil in my opinion should just be drizzled on things or used to make vinaigrette. but i'd recommend go with costco brand olive oil, good price point |
Straight from the family owned olive farm in Greece. I may be marrying in just for this reason :p Will provide RS discount, the only catch is you need to go there, pick and press the olives yourselves. |
i was gonna suggest costco as well. i cant believe in replying. |
Dam, my dad goes out of town for months on end so I dont have access to Costco. I used to buy extra virgin sourced from Lebanon (potential of contamination due to war) from the 'Persia' market but the price spiked soon after. The taste was good and cant find the same quality from the cheap virgin stuff. Will probably go back to that for now. The body cant create two types of fat and vitamin C. It needs this daily. The fat that pretty much everyone doesnt get enough of is omega 3. Best sourced in flaxseed oil... I use Omega Nutrition brand (not found at Persia market), and it should be found in the cooler\fridge section. Its best to consume these oils daily, a teaspoon or more on salads or eggs after the food is cooked as heat destroys it. |
Fife Bakery (3rd and Quebec) sells a bottle of olive oil (forgot the name) which is pretty good. Again, I use that olive oil for dipping bread. For cooking, I just use olive oil from Costco etc. |

Not sure how many companion cards you can have. Anyway................. |
^Just one. I've been my ex roommates "partner" for close to ten years. I get a little uncomfortable when I lose my card, forget the old phone number and have to answer the personal questions. |
Not olive oil, but if you want a good oil to cook with, get the avocado stuff from Costco once you're able to access it. Surprisingly good taste and it's fantastic for high heat stuff. For OO, look for the PDO logo and try for something in a dark coloured bottle. Light and heat affects good olive oil, so a dark bottle helps prevent that from happening. Can't really recommend a brand unfortunately as I don't use olive oil on a regular enough basis to bother buying good stuff. It'll go bad long before I get through even half a bottle. |
Bosa Foods. Their house brand is Italissimo. Not bad. Xtra Virgin and cold pressed, ftw. |
OO is one of the many things where cheap and quality don't go together. :fuckthatshit: Not using decent... because "decent" is very subjective. |

My friend said he actually looked into that claim, and said it's horse shit. It may destroy the flavour, but it's still healthier to cook with. Myself, I haven't looked into it, because I don't really care. So I still cook with extra virgin olive oil. Has anyone else done the research beyond that facebook post they read? |

Won't be long before the Z is for sale cause no space and time for toys. RIP |
Not true. The Z may start running EVO full time instead of amsoil but it won’t be sold! Lol that’s why I’ve purchased most of the big ticket items already. Ha |
