Comment on Motul 300V 5W40 into VW 2.0T engine?

Anyone using Motul 300V 5W40 into VW 2.0T engine?? Is it good? I am not use on racing. Mostly a normal city driving and sometimes drive to Seattle, WA.

I don't believe 300V is good for daily driving as it lacks some additives that would benefit long term oil changes (300V you're essentially changing it out almost every track day). I believe any good synthetic oil should be fine for daily (I use Pennzoil ultra plat) but hopefully others can chime in.

Agree on the fact that 300V is for racing use mainly.

Would look at the X-Cess 8100 if you're stuck on using Motul but there's much cheaper alternatives available that are just as good.

Or use Liqui Moly 5W40. The VW 2.0T's love that stuff
