the top of gifts came up one with a friend of mine. So I asked her like what if her bf got her something that's isn't expensive (a few hundred dollars or less) but is something that he put a lot of effort into it (IE making her her something or some limited edition things or cook a nice dinner) or something that expensive but he put in though or effort into it what's so ever. She would rather chose something that's expensive because according to her the more they are willing to spend on her it means the more they care. That's the attitude a lot of girl have these days and it sucks because spending money doens't equal to caring more.
