Hey guys,

So not exactly your dream vacation destination, but I’m shipped to kitimat, bc for work/school purposes for a few weeks.

I was browsing through the interwebs for things to do but even the closest ski hill is a 2 hour drive.

For those of you who have been, any suggestions/ideas on ways to make my stay less miserable?

I was born in kitimat lol. There's nothing there.

Any life advice you can impart to a city-boy like me?

The real action is in Terrace. They have a Walmart.

Kitmat is a hole. Wanna do something? Drive to Terrace at the minimum but even then, nothing to do. Welcome to Northern Living. Shames Mtn is pretty awesome for powder though and Smithers has good hill with lots of powder too. If you get to Smithers let me know.
