Wow. Can't say he didn't hang on for a loooong time. 55 years with ALS. That's insane.
RIP

Hawking was one of the greatest scientists in the world. The man was brilliant.

-admired him not only for his high intelligence but his perseverance and determination. Although he had ALS for 55 years, he did not let his major health issues interfere with his work that he did with such a passion.

He'll battle Albert Einstein in the after life for real now. One can only imagine the debate. Greatest mind in history.

The cameos he was in, glad he had a great sense of humor

He died on March 14 (3.14) which is also the day of Albert Einstein's birthday.

I could care less about coincidences like this but just passing it on.

---

News about space & time are what fascinate me most, so every time he posed a new theory or just had something to say or add to an existing theory, I would get very interested and read the article.

Sadly, articles about him (and science in general) get buried by all the garbage pop culture / pop political clickbait.

It's nice to know there are many many brilliant minds behind the scenes continuing their scholarly work to benefit the species. Let the retards who combat for the spotlight enjoy their spectacles. Their thoughts and ideas will only get lost through the fabric of time while the important and conclusive discoveries made will forever be cemented in history and lead to new discoveries which will benefit ourselves and the planet.

Until genderqueefs want to rewrite it all because mein feelings.

RIP Mr. Hawking

DragonChi 03-14-2018 10:54 PM

I think he was a spectacle because of his disability. I doubt few people know him because of his discovery of black holes and best selling book.

If he had created his own maths to solve difficult equations, then that would have truly cemented him into the history, math, and science books.
