One of my favorite authentic Greek restaurant. Give it a try!

Don't recall a lot of good Greek food places in Burnaby. But recently tried Argo around Canada Way and Boundary and they make some solid food. They do mostly catering, but have several tables available for walk-ins.

+1 for Argo, if you do their takeouts... they have a platter for 2 that's $59 I think... but hahaha it could easily feed 4 people, more if some of your friends are <100lb asian girls... 2 people eating that much food would be ridiculous. Food is awesome.

I recall seeing him driving it out of his parking lot once back in 2008.

My Greek Taverna in Coquitlam (by Ikea) is pretty good as well.

that guy is sitting on a goldmine...he can buy a couple of ferraris if he sells the lot

I am going to say because of tax liability issues, and its probably a company car

https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-age...-benefits.html

He probably used his restaurant's income to buy the ferrari and not his personal income, and to avoid the "Stand-by" and "Operational" tax consequences on his personal tax every year (~40-50k) he would have to park it at the restaurant for company use only.

if he were to drive it home, park it at home, drive it from home and whatever and back to home, he would be liable to pay those vehicle tax benefits on top of his income.

on a $150k car, and let say he uses it 70% personal, 30% company, thats a ~$36k taxable income on top of what he personally makes (goes higher if personal use is higher)

@tiger_handheld can explain better

He had a 911 Turbo before.

Such a waste of the car, watching him wash swirls in, and park it outdoors all winter instead of the hut he built.

i thought it was a 4S, i remember thinking if he was going to daily a sports car that it was a pretty good choice. then he got the ferrari and i realized he may not be so sensible

I imagine it would make for an interesting episode of Kitchen Nightmares.

he actually DD the car all the time, I work across the street from Market Crossing, he comes down here every day during lunch.

Badhobz 03-26-2018 07:54 AM

Good for him. I thought it was just a broken ass mess of a car that doesn't even run. Though super short drives like that can't be good for the engine.
