Can cut IKEA to fit then trim it out to make it look built in. I’ve done this for my book shelved it’s fairly cost effective

I’ll post a pic of my book shelves later on, can give you some ideas

So these are just the billy book shelves then I trimmed them out with mdf
Mouldings. IKEA is a good base to start then you can customize them as you need and the trim just makes it look more “built in”

Costco does custom cabinets I think. It’s on the ‘wall of pamphlets’ when you’re leaving the store

I used storemore when I needed a few done. Had the shitty cheap wire racks that come in most homes from shitty developers, mind was blown once i had them do my walk closet. I was so happy I had them come back and do two more

Closets!closets!closets!

Sorry I have nothing to add here except for a modern family reference.

I did mine with the ikea pax.

Had to do some cutting and modification to get a corner and make it fit the length & width of the closet (12' x 8')
Don't really have a good pic, but took some before and during photo.

I think it cost about $1100 for what I did there. (7 towers)
The frames and shelf were very cheap, the drawers are the expensive parts to add.

Lol yup during our walkthrough I expected it to be the cheap ass wire racks but when I saw it in person I was like wow this is ugly as fuck and not even that practical.

to have somone come in and install somthing like Ferra's there it would probably be 2500-4k i'd think, looks killer for DIY

VR6GTI 04-03-2018 05:39 PM

Yes I paid $2500 for something similar.

I wish the closet we have is that big but it ain't so I guess the cost would be less unless we go crazy with add ons

Ludepower 05-22-2018 10:38 AM

For the standard condo reach in closet. Do I go custom or do it myself.
Which system would be the best for DIY
