Firefox addon? I just noticed what appears to be an addon in my firefox browser that I did not install and cannot remove. In fact, it doesn't even show up in the add on list. Did anyone else get this with a recent update or something? It's called "Price Guide" and it pops up on the top right corner when you're on a shopping website like ebay or amazon. I did some searching online for "Price guide firefox" and nothing comes up. It's shit like this that makes me want to switch browsers. And yes I did not install this addon. The only addons I have are pop up blockers, ad blockers and youtube ad blockers. |
time to switch to chrome! |
If it doesn't show up in the settings then it is an addon that is installed on your computer. So navigate to the windows folder and delete the actual files, restart Firefox and it should be gone. Folder locations will either be in the Firefox installation folder, under extensions I think. Or else you may need to dive into the hidden AppData folder of your computer. I've moved on from Firefox awhile ago, so I don't have it installed to check the specific folder for you. |
Firefox is the bee's knees. |
I'm not sure why you'd blame Firefox for an issue that occurred locally. Like TOS'd said it's likely in one of the Firefox folders, I'd check in Programs and Features for it as well. |
