The old 1.9 TDI were pretty bulletproof. You can get them in the mk4 golf/jetta |

our old diesel Land Cruiser would get avg 600-700 km on a tank... and that was a boxy, super un-aerodynamic 1980s shape. It's a shame Toyota stopped selling diesels here, imo |
