Interior / Exterior car care product Hi Where in the lower mainland would i find a good place to buy interior cleaner, leather cleaner conditioner as well as tire and exterior care product. Only one that comes to mind is walmart or C Tire. I am sure there should be a place but hoping you have had experience and can share. Looking for first is tire cleaner and care and leather conditioner. I have heard the Ammo is good but its in the states. Any help would be appreciated. |
At Canadian Tire try the brand Autoglym. They have every single care and cleaner product. I recently used their magma as a tire cleaner and shampoo spray for the interior dash and leather seats. I also used their aqua wax spray to apply a quick coat of wax on the car. Starting to get into adamspolishes right now but cannot buy locally. |
Not lower mainland but if you do some research on the products (tons of youtube videos, forums etc) you won't find a better shop to buy detail stuff from. They ship fast too. www.autoobsessed.com It out of Edmonton but worth the wait for the products they supply. Check out their "projects" gallery if you want to see some proof of what the products can accomplish. |
If you want a good deal, you can't beat buying from the states. Most of the online retailers offer 20% off on a weekly basis. There are not many good local shops that carry the specialized products. There are a few places within Canada, but most charge $8 for shipping if you spend under $150. https://www.eshine.ca https://www.carzilla.ca/ https://www.oldetownautospa.ca/ Amazon.ca has some deals on Chemical guys products. I find their products hyped up, but when on sale, it's hard to resist the deal. For leather cleaner/conditioner, Amazon.ca has the Lexol kit for $26. For tire dressing, I use Optimum Opti-Bond. Sometimes Amazon.ca has a sale where you can get a gallon for $35, which is enough to last me a few years. |
I also use opti-bond for my tires. It also works much better than most products on textured mouldings and fender liners |
I just use autoglym for my maz. It's easy and affordable |
I'm in the middle of cross shopping all 4 of the hyperlinks above. Probably going to be over $150 as I tend to buy in bulk. Anyone have coupon codes for the sites? I've only ordered through eshine before and their newsletter emails don't consist of any special deals that the average joe doesn't already see from visiting their site. |

The guy himself is a strange fellow and it appears also mixing his own chemicals on the side. He will try and sell you extra random items. You can buy chemical guys from Home Depot, but its only on special sales. |
I clean my tires with tire brush + cheap tire spray. It lasts much longer if you rubbed it. For leather, I bring it to a steam cleaner every 2 years. Spray and cloth every season. Get off your car without rubbed your jeans on the seat, it will last long without spraying chemical on it. |
